Hobonichi Techo / Kakimori x TSUKI no IRO: Pigment Ink - Hobonichi Techo Standard Color — part of the Hobonichi Techo 2027 collection.
The Hobonichi Techo uses 12 soft colors across the book. The TSUKI no IRO stationery series incorporates these colors into simple designs. This is a collaboration item with the stationery store Kakimori. This is an original “TSUKI no IRO” color ink, based on Kakimori’s water-resistant, fade-resistant water-based pigment ink. It is a deep blue-gray inspired by the color of the graph paper, making it a shade that blends well with the pages.

About Hobonichi Techo
Hobonichi Techo was created in 2002 by Shigesato Itoi — the influential Japanese copywriter, creative director, and writer of the Nintendo/EarthBound “Mother” game series — as an extension of his long-running web magazine Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun (“Almost Daily Itoi News”), which has published online since 1998. It is produced in Japan by Hobonichi Co., Ltd.
The planner is built around ultra-thin, famously smooth Tomoe River paper, prized by fountain pen users worldwide for its ink-friendliness and near-zero bleed-through. Each year Hobonichi releases a new lineup of cover designs and collaborations with Japanese and international artists, designers, and brands — a roster that has grown into one of the most anticipated and collected release calendars in stationery. Designs regularly sell out within days of launch.
