This cowhide leather is entirely finished with silver foil, creating a smart and sophisticated atmosphere. The headband at the top and bottom of the spine is there for both reinforcement and decorative purposes. For Noble Silver, this part comes in white. The satin ribbon bookmarks come in white and dark gray. The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.

About Hobonichi Techo

Hobonichi Techo was created in 2002 by Shigesato Itoi — the influential Japanese copywriter, creative director, and writer of the Nintendo/EarthBound “Mother” game series — as an extension of his long-running web magazine Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun (“Almost Daily Itoi News”), which has published online since 1998. It is produced in Japan by Hobonichi Co., Ltd.

The planner is built around ultra-thin, famously smooth Tomoe River paper, prized by fountain pen users worldwide for its ink-friendliness and near-zero bleed-through.
