About Kaweco

Kaweco traces back to 1883, when it was founded in Heidelberg, Germany as the Heidelberg Dip Pen Factory. In 1889, new owners Heinrich Koch and Rudolph Weber renamed the company Kaweco — short for Koch, Weber & Compagnie — and grew it into an international pen maker with offices across Europe. The brand's most famous design, the pocket-sized Kaweco Sport, launched in 1911 for officers, sportsmen, and travelers who wanted a full writing experience in a compact size.
