Kaweco Collector's Sport Fountain Pen / Toyama Teal

Each year's Kaweco Collector's Sport takes its color from a real place. Toyama Teal is inspired by the bioluminescent waters off Toyama, Japan, where a certain species of squid lights up the coastline — captured here in pearly green-teal pigment that shifts under different light, finished with silver accents.

About Kaweco

Kaweco traces back to 1883, when it was founded in Heidelberg, Germany as the Heidelberg Dip Pen Factory. In 1889, new owners Heinrich Koch and Rudolph Weber renamed the company Kaweco — short for Koch, Weber & Compagnie — and grew it into an international pen maker with offices across Europe. The brand's most famous design, the pocket-sized Kaweco Sport, launched in 1911 for officers, sportsmen, and travelers who wanted a full writing experience in a compact size. More than a century later, the Sport remains Kaweco's signature model, still handmade in Germany and beloved for the same portability that made it a hit generations ago.
